We understand that many of our patients experience chronic pain. We use a holistic approach including physical therapy, functional training, surgical referrals, injection/nerve block referrals, non-opiate pain medicine. However, we also understand these treatments do not always result in adequate pain control and in certain cases prescription pain medicines are needed. We ask that any patient requiring long term opiate medications see a Pain Medicine Specialist for recommendations and changes that may be needed to the care plan.
The above policy does not apply to acute pain or injury. It also does not apply to chronic cancer pain or hospice patients. Rest assured we will do our best to ease your pain in difficult times.

We strongly prefer using the Athena online portal for scheduling. However, we are happy to take appointments over the phone or even email.
We reserve the right to charge $30 for appointments cancelled after close of office hours the prior business day or for "no show" appointments.
Same day appointments are readily available, we can even work out after hours visits in certain circumstances. However, we ask all "walk-ins" to call prior to arrival. In many cases, appointment slots will be available even for "walk-in" patients.
